I drew this picture while the copy of the picture was upside down. I didn't do a very good job, but I enjoyed it nevertheless. I created this drawing by copying from the original drawing. I drew it in sectors, and in the picture you can see I've colored in the various sectors. Like I said before, it was frustrating but I enjoyed it. My teacher, Mrs. Bammi, told us to draw one sector at a time, covering up the other sector so that we could focus,. She said focus on the lines only, if you see it taking form, ignore it. The moment you start trying to make it look real, you're going to screw it up. This was certainly the case with my drawing, but only after I had done 4 or 5 sectors did I realize what it really was. And then, like Mrs. Bammi said, I screwed it up:(
I think if I got to do this project again then I would just focus on the lines. I wasn't satisfied with my final piece.I think it's important to have art in schools because it encourages people to observe the world around them with greater appreciation of the people and other objects that are found in this world.
